How Bout Them Apples: Basically...I personally love apples. I pretty much eat an apple every day. I'm a little odd like that. Naturally, I was amused by the fact that I had this in common with the shinigami Ryuk when I started watching Death Note. I also started thinking....well wow, I like apples...but what if it was ALL i could eat EVER? Not cool...
Didn't See THAT Coming: Basically...if you didn't figure it out (which would be deeply painful for me if you're familiar with Death Note because it means my comic sucks): This is a blooper reel version of the scene where Light approaches Ray Penbar near the subway and begins his plan to wipe out the FBI in Japan (btw...the FBI is a government agency devoted only to internal affairs...so it's hilarious that they're in japan...but that's not the point). His plan, however brilliant, hinged on the assumption that Ray wouldn't turn around in the few seconds between when Light said his name and when he began his instructions. There was definitely a pause there...risky business. Here's how the scene would've went if Light hadn't gotten lucky. ^_^
Oh The Irony: I just think it'd be hilarious (really sad, but really ironic) if L actually died of a natural heart attack. Don't get wrong, I'd cry if that happened...(I'm only on episode 21 so PLEASE DON'T TELL ME IF/HOW L DIES THANK YOU)...but i think it's funny in joke-comic form.
